According to the State Prosecutor, Svechla is trying to give political character to police shares.
“Minister Svecla, as well as other shares of the prosecution, and today's case conducted at the order of the Basic Prosecutor in Ferizaj in the municipality of Shtrpce and beyond, tries to give him political character”, said in response.
The point is that investigating and prosecuting criminal cases is not the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or other government sectors, but is the exclusive competence of the State Prosecutor.
“Investigations and criminal cases have no political cootation and should not be commented on by political bodies. We understand the assessment that the executive power has begun to have for the State Prosecutor's work, but we make it clear that power sharing and competencies must be respected that each institution has”, it is said further.

The modern day's “Action is the work and several-year commitment of the Prosecutor supported by other law enforcement agencies, is also in the continuation of the State Prosecutor's efforts to strengthen the rule of law in the Republic of Kosovo and bring to justice all those individuals who conduct criminal acts regardless of position, function or ethnicity they have” is said to end.
The State Prosecutor's reaction came after Minister Svechla said the Kurti Government has pledged to fight crime in every corner of the country.
“Just as we vowed to fight crime in every corner of the country, today the Kosovo Police action against construction crimes that have destroyed a significant portion of the mountains in the Brezovica” area was successfully developed.
Meanwhile, today the Constitutional Prosecutor at Ferizaj has indicated that in action “Brezovica” 10 people have been arrested under suspicion of criminal acts as misusing official duty, taking and bribery.
