Premier League clubs have chosen not to postpone a single match during the festive period at the end of the year, despite the continuing interruption caused by the cases of Covid-19.
20 league clubs met on Monday to discuss how they could face the problem after six matches were postponed due to the cases of Covid-19 over the weekend.
Posting a Christmas lap was an opportunity.
No vote was held, and thus the matches will be held normally.
It was expected that the 20th week of the game, starting on December 28th, would be postponed to ease pressure on Premier League teams.
Instead, clubs have been advised that if they have 13 players in shape, plus a goalkeeper, they should hold the matches.
