Max Verstappen is World Champion 2021 on F1! Red Bull's Dutchman won his first champion title by triumphing in Abu Dhabi GP in a controversial final, with Safety Car on the track with 5 laps to reopen a race that was completely in the hands of Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen switched tires, mounted soft tires, and when the security car returned to box, he attacked and preceded Hamilton in the last lap.

The two pilots were equal in comparison before this last race of the Forum 1 World, and anyone to score more points in this race than the rival would be declared champion. If both pilots didn't finish the race, or wind up out of the score zone, then Verstappen would be the champion, because during the season there was a more than English victory.

It was there that Max Verstappen, who had just changed supersoft tires, preceded his rival at Yas Marina's third bend and grabbed his first world title.
