Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has backed the US decision on a diplomatic boycott of China.
Like her counterparts from SBBA, Australia and Great Britain, Osmani says the cause of human rights violations by Chinese authorities has led Kosovo to boycott the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
According to the presidency, this diplomatic boycott, as well as that of other countries, implies that the racing teams are participating in the Games, but that Kosovo's president will boycott all formal ceremonies and activities for delegation leaders during the Olympics in Beijing.
