Majlinda Kelmendi is invited to the T7 Pressing show where she's revealing everything from her life.
She officially retired last night and was decorated by the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at the command of “Working Galica”.
Judon was a passion as a child. I tried with some friends I went to play basketball, but that's where she didn't want me at all. Judo fell into my soul”, Majlinda said.
In honour of Kosovo's most successful jungle, Republic of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has organised a state ceremony.
Osmani decorated Majlinda Kelmendi with the command “Friends Galica”.
Majlinda is considered the largest athlete Kosovo has ever had.
It reached its peak career in 2016 when it brought Kosovo its first Olympic gold medal from “Rio 2016”.
Among other things, it has been pronounced two-time world champion and four-time European champion.
In all, Majlinda has won 46 trophies in the Judo sport.
In important races, it has collected 29 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals.
