The KOK president thanked Kurt for the continued welcome and support he is giving sports in the country and also presented the work and objectives of the KOK for developing sports in the country. Especially was close co-operation with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports appreciated towards developing elite sports, sports for all, school and university.
Kurti showed his readiness for supporting sports as a field of interest and state priority.
“Sport, in addition to empowering Kosovo's positive image in the international arena, should become culture in our country”, he said.
Sports infrastructure was also discussed as extremely important components for masovisation and sports results.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Hayrllah Ceku, Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Daulin Osmani and KOK Secretary General Besim Aliti attended the meeting.
