There have been some very serious interventions in the Premier League match between Tottenham and Liverpool at the weekend.
Two particularly remarkable interventions, one of which was from Harry Kane.
The Spurs striker got into a duel with Andy Robertson and got him wrong, broadcast Periscope.
It was a serious intervention, one that could cause serious harm to the Scottish.
Fortunately for Robertson, he managed to continue. And fortunately for Kane, there was no red card.
Robertson, then, continued to donate an extremely serious intervention to the second half at Emerson Royal and, after consulting the VAR, was expelled.
Both interventions were very serious, but they were not even worse than what happened in the match between Burundi and Tanasani in the U17 age group at the African Cup in 2018.
Tanzania was leading 2-1 in overtime and was close to winning three points.
Their captain, Abraham Morri, had the ball in his field and a player running toward him.
Morris gave a brilliant touch to his opponent's head to overcome him.
But Burundi's player did not intend to withdraw until he put forth his foot to strike Morris's neck.
And he didn't leave that much, young man then stepped on Morris, who was lying in the field in agony.
The images of brutal intervention have resurfaced on Twitter. /Periscope. com/
