Toronto FC's economic bid for Lawrence Insigne is really one of those that are tempting. Especially at a time when companies are playing landing when it comes to the renovations of contracts.
And so it is no wonder that the captain of Naples really thinks about moving to the MLS. In anticipation of his decision, it's actually about a five-year contract that envisions a gross salary of $11.5 million in the season. By abolishing Canadian taxes, it drops to 6,6.5 million, or translated into euros: 5.7m annually.
But not everything is so simple, because a transfer to the MLS would make Captain Napolitan of “looks from radar”, as former national attacker Sebastian Giovinco warned: “Here they're sure it's done, waiting for him in March”.
During an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Sebastian Giovinco confirmed the increasingly persistent rumours of an agreement reached between Toronto Fc and Laurenzo Insigne, but at the same time warns the captain of Naples: “on a professional level should be aware that you will disappear from radar”.
