“Hajnat in prison, Dubrava 12th floor”, Kurti said as he warned the detention of thieves. And today, Kosovo and Denmark have signed the agreement that rents the latter to 300 cells in the correctional centre of Gjilan.
Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu signed the agreement with Danish Justice Minister Nick Hækkerup, who came to Pristina on this very issue.
Other representatives from the Denmark Kingdom were present at the signing ceremony in the Government of Kosovo, as well as Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli.
Haxhiu said that with this agreement Kosovo has been praised in terms of the aspect of rule of law, and therefore has been selected to sign it.
At the correctional centre, 300 prisoners will be placed in a 5+5<180> term, Haxhiu said briefly. He said that detailed details of the agreement would be provided later.
Denmark's Interior Minister said the agreement would benefit both sides.
The Agreement has begun to be dialogueed by the past government but has continued with the current Government. This deal will largely solve Denmark's” problems, Hakerup said.
