France's World Cup winner Mbppe contract in Parc des Princes expires next summer and amid speculation of a free transfer to Real Madrid, he has not yet signed a new agreement in Paris.
But Herrera, who herself moved to SPG from Manchester United in 2019, says there is no pressure in the dressing room for contract situations, but is convinced that Mbappe still has time to devote himself.
There's room to update Mbppe”, he told us about the Mundo Deportivo. “We have many examples of football players who did this in February, March or April. There's still time. )
Responding to the fan among them "Mbabappe 2050" who surrendered to 23-year-old Herrera on his birthday said: He's an open, friendly, funny guy. He understands life in a mood, and there are healthy lines between us that form groups. We don't pressure each other for our future.
I'm not kidding, we're not talking about contractual issues of anybody in the dressing room”.
Herrera also insisted that the Frenchman had a great deal of humility and desire to learn from Lionel Messi, with the Spaniard saying the entire team should try to do more to help the Argentinian after a poor start in life in France.
And we all agree that Leo is number one. No doubt. There is immense humility and a desire to learn from Leo.
“Mess Level Players shorten environment time. It will play the same way in France, Spain, Japan or Madagascar.
“He has won the seventh Golden Ball and is trained and satisfied as if he had just begun playing now. No training is taken as a joke.
We've seen Leo's best version ever, as opposed to [Manchester] City at home, but I think it's also the responsibility of everyone around it. We should put ourselves in his service to get the best out of him. Normally, regular players must adapt to a new context.
It's the opposite now because we're talking about the best football player in history”
Messie has scored only one goal in Ligue 1 in 11 presentations, and has failed to find the net again at the 1-1 draw in Lorient on Wednesday, though he scored five goals in the Champions League in just as many matches.
