Simone Pavan is fighting the fiercest battle: the one next to his six-year-old son Leonardo, who was diagnosed with leukemia over a year ago. The former Atlanta player, Sampdoria, Venice and Modena has left the Vis Pesaro panic to dedicate the soul and heart of his child, deciding to now submit to the procedure of taking bone marrow to donate to his sick son:
“Kimiorapy was devastating, Leonardo needs me, and I was completely involved with the thought of it.
“Life has put me on a very difficult test, but the force comes from my family, more unified than ever,”, Pavan added, who told them not two job offers: “How could I do that in such a situation to be thrown to my profession? I only think about Leonardo” right now.
