Gembi Junik is the athlete from Gjakova, who participated in the international tournament “Brasilian Jiu Yitsu AJP Tour”, which was held in Belgrade.
“Brasilian Jiu Yitsu” is a fighter sport, similar to wrestling and judon in which war lasts until one of the racers surrenders, loses point or causes a breach or injury to the opponent.
In this tournament, Junik took second place, defeating Montenegrin Nikola Sekovic, who was competing for the Serbian club Gracie Barra Belgrade.
In the case of the price sharing, the symbols of the Republic of Kosovo appeared on television screens within the hall, respectively, which happened for the first time in this state.
Yunik says of Kosovo, there has been no attempt not to allow the appearance of Kosovo symbols and that he has been highly respected by organisers of this tour in Belgrade.
“There has been no attempt to prevent the appearance of Kosovo symbols in this tournament. We've had a great time and we've been very well received by the organizers there. From Kosovo I have left Prizren and travelled after having had no problem up there”, Yunik said.
In this competition the Gembby is presented representing Tirana MMA Clubs Center and Fight Club 07
