A comment by former deputy chairman of the Kosovo Volleyball Federation, Visar Alimej, is as disturbing as alarming to Kosovo's overall sport. He has said he has sexual abuse in the Kosovo sport.
““E I have raised this concern even at the Kosovo Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
There are cases of abuse in Kosovo as well. Some have been warned and most have not even received notice.
The ministry should take this job very seriously, but even the Kosovo Olympic Committee” has commented Alimejaj.
Renowned volleyball coach Bujar Dervisaj, who lives and operates in Switzerland, is concerned about this phenomenon.

“Respect for Visar Alimej that has opened this topic for discussion.
While the Kosovo Olympic Committee must immediately form Campana and organise the staff that cares for athletes and athletes... Let this campaign's name be named “NA TgiO” or “S I JENIN” where athletes can contact staff and tell you about all the problems they have in their sports career, and not only about harassment or sexual abuse, but also mental abuse etc.”, Dervisaj comments on Alimaj's writing.
On the other hand, Visar Alimej, answers Dervisaj:
Two years ago I realized there were two reported cases at the prosecution. But I realized there are other cases of harassment and abuse”.
Hysni Hoti, coach of athletics comments: “It is good to deal with this issue because these issues are present in existing federations, but the respective commissions deny and exploit these phenomena, and therefore success is lacking in different sports, respect for the author of this theme”.
