The lots have already been cast for the phase of the direct elimination of the League Champions.
The biggest club race in Europe will bring interesting confrontations at this point in the race, which start to play in mid-February.
From the 1/8th of the final, new rules will be enacted, where the goal rule as guests will no longer be worth.
The so-called goal rule as guests has been removed, so the matches that between the drawbacks in 180 minutes will go to extra time, despite the number of goals each team has scored at home and abroad. If the teams can't still score goals in the next 30 minutes, the match goes to penalty.
Gazprom Arena of St Petersburg will host the final of the Champions League for the edition of 2021/22, with the planned game on May 28th of 2022.
