Dortmund ensures that kohëland will stay

After Dortmund won 3-0 on Greece Furth on Wednesday, Erling Haaland has been seen greeting all four ends of Signal Iduna Park in what was interpreted as a farewell gesture.

However, the club's sports director, Michael Zorc, secured fans after the last Dortmund match in 2021 that Norwegian will stay beyond the deadline passing January.

“Of course he'll stay. Of course we would like him to stay in Dortmund during the summer. We should not give up on him, nor should we for financial reasons. But we also know that under certain conditions he has the opportunity to change [clubs], and we will surely have talks with him in the coming weeks. We have a long-term contract with him, so he must act first and not us. Everything would be good for Dortmund if he stays like this”, Zorc declared.
