The Democratic Party of Kosovo has no agreement to govern Kosovo's Democratic League in Pristina.
So stated PDK deputy chairman Vlora Citaku. She has clarified that reports made about a possible agreement between PDK and LDK for governance in the Pristina municipality are false.
Citaku said there is no coalition agreement in Pristina, while stressing that news that Blerand Stavileci is expected to be the capital's new deputy head is pure speculation.
“No agreement in Pristina. No, Blendi is not Pristina's next deputy chairman. I've seen the news. It's all speculation, pure speculation. I don't know why”, stressed them.
On the other hand, Citaku said he was not even discussed for future agreements, and according to her, there is no great will that there is a coalition in Pristina PDK-LDK.
Not only is Stevilec not going to be vice president, but we don't have any kind of agreement with LDK, I'm saying very openly. We haven't discussed it either within the PDK leadership or within the branch leadership. There is no great will to go into the coalition. We're dealing more with the municipalities we've won in” at this time, Citaku said during his interview with Telegrafi.
Citaku said that neither in the municipality of Gjilan have accepted a coalition bid.
We have not accepted any official offer from the new chairman of Gjilan. If we get it, we'll sit down and discuss it. He is the elected chairman of Gjilan”, she said.
Meanwhile, the result of local elections is generally considered positive for the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
Citaku said that they have offered a professional candidate with integrity, which he views as one of the reasons for this outcome.
“has been a very positive result for PDK. After local elections, we have a rebalance of the political landscape in Kosovo. There have been a host of factors that have produced this outcome. The first has been the quality of candidates. The PDK has not humiliated him; it has not offended Kosovo voters. He has offered a professional candidate with integrity. Another factor has been the spirit of a new leadership in the PDK, as well as the overall mood in Kosovo in relation to the governance of Mr. Kurti”, Citaku stressed.
Speaking of local elections, Citaku has said that not all were done against the Vetevendosje Movement in municipalities, citing that the LVV has made coalitions in municipalities.
“Should deminit this type of “against all of us, we are the only ones who are clean and honest, uncompromis”. The Vetevendosje movement and their candidates have made coalitions in several countries, somewhere with LDK, somewhere with the AAK, made pre-election coalitions. It's all right in politics. It's normal to form alliances, coalitions. There were also in Prizren. There have been no one here against us, there have been coalitions and Vetevendosje Movement”, she said.
Citaku added that it is not useful for democracy to say that all were done against Vetevendosje Movement and therefore they have not won in many municipalities during local elections.
The first “is not true, and the second is not useful for democracy. We are citizens of this country, why are only those who are LVV and vote Vetevendosje are good and honest and patriotic? Good people everywhere, there are both PDK and LDK and Vetevendosje. I try to keep the ownership of values, work and honest is not honest. I know people in LVV, full of women and men who are the owners of the honest”, Citaku said at “Face”.
She also talked about the governance of Albin Kurti, the failures she thinks of the current government, Rama's resignation from the position of KKS General Command, the gas project and other issues.
