Majlinda Kelmendi today at a state ceremony has officially ended her wild career.
In honour of Kosovo's most successful jungle, Republic of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has organised a state ceremony.
This ceremony is being held at the “Ali Hadri” institute in Pristina.
It was Majlinda's coach, Driton Kuka, who told details before the Judiste retirement.
I'm talking about an important detail about a trainer's feelings when she's faced with a student's pension. A country has waited from Judo to be returned with medals from Tokyo 2020. The shipment that Majlinda left to me has made me much more loaded. You should have kept all this to yourself. I comforted myself by saying that perhaps I would persuade him to continue his career. Majlinda has achieved everything that can be achieved”, Kuka indicated.
Majlinda is considered the largest athlete Kosovo has ever had.
It reached its peak career in 2016 when it brought Kosovo its first Olympic gold medal from “Rio 2016”.
Among other things, it has been pronounced two-time world champion and four-time European champion.
In all, Majlinda has won 46 trophies in the Judo sport.
In important races, it has collected 29 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals.
