The Spanish icon, besides greeting the players in the dressing rooms, has announced them with 10 rules.
These 10 rules seem to be what Xavi views as the most necessary to return to glory.
The following is Periscope's 10 rules and an explanation of the goal for each of them.
1: Players must be an hour and a half early in training:
The purpose of this is to have enough time to prepare for training, but also to have room for individual discussions.
2: The staff should appear two hours before training:
The goal is to get everything ready for the start of the session when the players arrive.
3: Players must feed on the training center:
First squad players must eat in team environments under parameters set by club nutritionists. A correct diet prevents injury and improves physical preparation.
4: Seting fines:
The truth that players are professional enough to know what they can't and what they can't do works on ideal scenarios, but it's complicated in real life.
5: Intensive Sanctions
Fines will be arranged at a geometric rather than arithmetic rate. It means, if the player is late for training, he pays the easiest amount, 100, then the second time 200, and the third penalty 400 and so on.
6: 48 hours before the game you can't be late home:
When the team is two days away from the match, it is forbidden to return home after midnight. It is considered that the player must be aware that he should be as well at the time of the match as possible.
7: Meritocracy:
You play like you train, and meritocracy is the only way to success. Only those who are best trained and those who have the greatest commitment to training will be able to start. Others heat up the bank or, at the worst, are not invited.
8: Checking for sports events:
Players may have other activities that are not football, but if these affect performance, with the need to be involved in travel or to do more hours, then they should be monitored by coach staff.
9: Stop dangerous activities:
We shouldn't happen to see a surfing player or have fun with the electric bike. These types of activities are sanctioned by serious measures and should be passed through legal department filters, as it is considered a flagrant violation of the contract.
10: Good image:
Players are fundamental parts of the club and they should be the first to set the example. Fans need to show empathy, and indecent behavior is forbidden. /Periscopi/
