Twitter founder leaving directorial post

The founder and executive director of the American social Twitter network, Jack Dorsey, will leave his post, unidentified sources told CNBC.

After this news was declared, Twitter shares increased by 11%.

Dorsey is currently the chief executive chief of Twitter and Square, his digital payment company Square.

“Eliot Management” requested that Jack Dorsey be replaced as director in 2020, before the investment firm reached an agreement with the Twitter management.

The founder of “Eliot Management” and billionaire Paul Singer asked whether lotey should run both companies, asking him to leave the function of one of these two companies Twitter or Square.
