Surprises Alves: Eriksen deserved the Golden Land

Newcomer to Barcelona, Danny Alves, said he'd give the Golden Ball to Inter player Christian Ericksen.

Although he has a good friend and a former colleague, Lionel Messi, the Brazilian thinks it would be good for the Danish to win after the case at the world championship where Ericksen had been in cardiac arrest.

“Eriksen deserves Golden Ball, this year”, Dani Alves said.

“E deserves what it went through. It would be a powerful message to the entire football world, people would have more sensitivity”.
