Steven Gerard's response after Ferguson said he's not a very, very good player.

Aston Villa named the legend of Liverpool after impressing Rangers, leading the team to the title in Scottish Premiership.

After being appointed Thursday morning, Gerard could not hide the excitement of passing through the villa, the Periscope broadcast.

Despite being considered one of the best midfielders in English football history, a man who wasn't very impressed by him as a player is Sir Alex Ferguson.

Skocezi made a controversial comment on his autobiography in 2013, writing: ” I am one of the few who feel Gerard was not a ball, a ball player. ”

It was a big comment, considering the status of Gerard at Premier League.

Well, he asked and answered:

I went to the Manchester United when I was 13, and received a letter that wanted to sign with me for a seven-year agreement”, he told BT Sport host.

I'm a big fan of Alex Ferguson and what he did at the game is fantastic, that's why he sold so many copies in the first week.

I was really upset when I read this, the newspaper response, when he said I'm not a ball, a ball player. But I'm not going to lose sleep on this, everyone has the right to their opinion.

“He tried to sign with me at the beginning of 2002/03, he tried to sign with me again to play for United, I undoubtedly refused, so I couldn't take much to heart. But I'm a little upset because I'm a big fan of it.” /Periscope. com/
