Not one senior American official received it: Kurt fails US visit, Sends Minister Schwarz

Metro Journal sources within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have indicated that Prime Minister Albin Kurti's planned visit to the US has failed because he has failed to secure any meeting with senior American officials.

It was Prime Minister Kurti himself who, days earlier in the Kosovo Assembly, had declared he would make an official visit to the United States in November.

Kurti was asked by MPs why he has not made an official trip to the US.

I didn't apply for visas in the United States because I didn't intend to go to this, but in the United States it will travel to November. It's about internal coordination that I believe is the right and good for our country. And as for friendship with President Beden you know that I am the only president of the political subject who has publicly supported it, while the rest of you have watched who is winning... you've been watching who is winning, and I appealed to the Albanians to vote President Biden”, Kurti was expressed.

But the truth is emerging, Kurti has failed to plan a meeting with senior US officials, so Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gervalla-Schwarz has traveled instead.

Gervalla-Schwarz also made it known during yesterday to members of the European Integration Commission that there is limited time to report the cause of her trip to the US.

It should be stressed that Kurti has consistently had objections as to American policies against Kosovo.
