Xavi thus returns to the top of Barcelona as chief coach after the dismissal of Dutch Ronald Coeman, another legend of the football club that failed as a coach.
Koeman was dismissed after 14 months at the helm of the second-most trophical Spanish club, following the 1-0 loss of Ray Vallecano on October 27th, reports Goal.com, Translation Periscopi.
Al Sadd in an official statement has stated: “The club's administration has approved the transfer of Xavi to Barcelona following the payment of the clause of his contract. Xavi is considered an important part of our history, and we want every future success”.
