Late last month, Newcastle fired coach Steve Bruce after the club's poor form this season in Premierliga.
Meanwhile, Howe was part of Bournemouth for eight years, 2012-2020, and will now run the recently purchased club by the Arabian sheiks.
Right now, Newcastle is in place before end with only five points out of 11 matches.
