First the name of the stadium and now a statue. Naples or Diego Armando Maradona are the same thing. Argentinian football legend, for the best man in history, passed away last November 25th, a few days after celebrating her 60th birthday.

The stadium, where Luciano Spallet's team plays domestic challenges, was named Diego Armando Maradona, as surprises and honours have not ended.
In the championship match against Lazio, which is scheduled to be played on November 28th, three days after the anniversary of Maradona's departure from this world, a statue of the former magic football player will be placed in the stadium bearing his name.
The statue has real size and has been made to honor a promise to Maradon himself in 2017 when he became an honorary citizen of Naples. Left foot and God's “ ” are decorated with a gold sheet.
Naples fans are looking forward to the match with Sarri's team and stadium “Diego Armando Maradona” is expected to be fully honoured by the former captain and star of the Italian team.
