The president of the Italian club has discovered that they are working to organise a tournament honouring Diego Armando Maradona.
The “Cup Maradona” will be played on 14 December in Saudi Arabia to honour the Argentinian legend, a year after his death.
Barcelona and Boca Juniors meet for the Maradona Cup, but Naples was surprisingly not included in the tournament to honour the memory of legend.
Naples's president said they are working in a new project together with the Argentina team.
“We are working with Foreign Minister Louis Di Maio and the Argentine ambassador to host a match on May 24th, 202250.

Serie A ends on 22 May and De Laurentis wants to honour their former football player before the players go on vacation.
