During this meeting, Krasniqi and Lajcak have discussed the performance of the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia and the position of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, as opposition leaders, faced this important process for the two states and the region.
Chairman Krasniqi has reaffirmed that the PDK, as an official party, supports the continuation of Kosovo's dialogue -- Serbia -- which must end with recognition of Kosovo's independence from Serbia.
“Emisarin Lajcak thanked him for his commitment to this delicate process and stated that any possible agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should be in line with the Constitution of Kosovo, not to violate the territorial integrity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.”, Krasniqi said.
During visit to Brussels, head of The PDK has also met with Deputy Director for Europe in the European Foreign Action Service Marko Macovec, where they have discussed the need for deepening Kosovo's co-operation and co-ordination with the European Union on political issues, including implementation of the SAA and negotiations on the Country Report.
