The midfielder of Arsenal, Granit Jaka, has discovered his desire to return to Borussia Montengladbach when the contract expires in 2024.
Switzerland's captain extended his contract with “Toopchits” for a year despite reports of a transfer to Rome.
Jaka is currently missing because of a serious injury she suffered at the North London derby to Tottenham in September.
He made over 200 presentations for Arsenal and was appointed captain during the time when the coach was Unay Emery, but his tape was removed after a confrontation with fans in the 2019 Crystal Palace match.
Jaka's transfer cost the Londoners about 34 million pounds, from Borussia Montengladbach.
And now, Jaka has discovered his desire to return to the German team for free in 2024, when he turns 32 years.
I didn't make the transfer from Borussia to Arsenal for money. It was my dream to play in England. I just extended the contract, which has been running you for years and a half. Then I'll be 32 and if Max Eberl wants me, my door will be open”, Jaka said.
