U n The EFA has decided to reduce Hungary's sanctions for discriminating behaviour by Hungarian fans during last summer's European Championship matches, going from three to two closed-door meetings.
The government leading continental football has thus partially accepted the appeal submitted by the Hungarian federation.
Therefore, the national team will play the next two closed-door matches, but the second will remain suspended for two years, W said. EFA.

Hungary also ended up in the target of FIFA, which in September imposed two closed-door matches, one against Albania in the qualifying campaign towards Qatar 2022, where the second remains on hold for two years, while the Federation has also paid a fine of 200,000 Swiss francs as punishment for racist calls by its fans against English players during the qualifying match for the World Cup.
