Danina Rexhepi, nine-year-old not recognising competition in karate

Danina Rexhepi is not recognising competition in this sport for her age group in Kosovo.

Today she defended the essence of the Kosovo champion, which she holds for three years in a row.

Nine-year-olds are also seen in international competitions held in northern Macedonia, but also in Albania.

Her father, Jethmir Rexhepi, told Clankosova.tv that love for this sport has come from the family.

The love of karate seems to have inherited it. My sister and I have been Balkan and European champions in karate. We have competed for Albania, as Kosovo was then unable to compete because it was not recognised by the international sports community”.

She says that her 10-year-old daughter will also engage in wars.

Until the age of 10, according to karate rules, no fight with opponents is allowed. But from the age of 10, however, that Danina will also begin another dimension of the” races.

Rexhepi says special credit for his daughter's success is shared by two trainers.
