Bajrami: Diaspora, remittances key factors for Kosovo budget growth

This budget is designed to total 2 billion of 748m euros.

And the factors for raising this budget, according to Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami, are increasing consumption.

Bajrami at the special edition in Klan Kosova said that this is where the record diaspora turnout and remittances have affected.

In 2021, we had great relaxation of measures almost all measures removed. We know about the relaxation of the measures that were made prior to the appearance of the “Delta” of the choreographer, and then this had a huge cost of people's lives”.

“However, consumption increased. We had an extremely large presence in the diaspora and we had extremely large remittances because the diaspora had not been in Kosovo for a year.

“Consum increased due to just these factors, remittances and large presence of diaspora”.
