Oscar Tabarez is no longer Uruguay's coach. The 74-year-old stood on the Latin national bench since 2006, while he was coach of two-time world champions even in 1988-1990.
Uruguay's latest results have been disappointing (1x1) and 4 losses in the last 5 matches, while the 3-0 loss in Bolivia has resulted fatal for <x0m>-meder” and its technical staff.
Uruguay ranks seventh in the Latin American group, seriously jeopardising the qualifications of the Qatar World 2022.
Federation leaders have dismissed Tabarez, who are grateful for the professionalism and the fantastic work he has done these years.
The Uruguayn coach led his national to win America's Cup in 2011, as he sent Uruguay to the South African semi-finals 2010.
