This incident occurred after Switzerland's victory over Northern Ireland (2:0) in qualifications for the World Cup.
The KLA emblem seen by Shaqiri is a headline in the Belgrade media, the emblem.
“An anticipated scandal! Gerdan is interviewing the notorious KLA jacket! How long will I tolerate U. EFA this”, wrote “Kurir”.
“Scandal following the match with Northern Ireland”, Swiss media reported that their country's representative, Gerdan Shaqiri, was wearing a so-called Kosovo Liberation Army jacket (UÇK)” - scronere “Novosti”.
