Raskaj addresses the young: Accept Kosovo as soon as possible because you will no longer pray

Former Kosovo National captain Anel Raskaj has stopped talking about the steps coach Bernard Challandes' team is going through and her development compared to when he was part of the national.

In an interview for Kosova Press, Raskaj has made a comparison between the team's current body with him while he was playing.

He says that in his day the team had problems, especially in the midfield department, the problem that, according to him, has already been eliminated with the arrival of new players.

Raskaj: The new facilities have done the Kosovo National very well.

“We've had few problems with players in the middle and the cause has been that most of them were joking and Kryeziu but they've been a long time hurt, they haven't been much more national and then they've gone away so there hasn't been many midfielders but I think a very good step has been done with Dresevic.... I think Losj has been very good against Spain, now we've also heard the dogma that he's agreed to play for Kosovo, and I think that competition is on the rise of the upper ground, Rashi said.

Raskaj has also spoken about the work of Swiss coach Bernard Challandes with Kosovo, which according to him must be divided into two parts, before and after the pandemic.

According to him, the pandemic has greatly influenced the poor results because of the lack of many players.

Raskaj: Bernard Challande's work should be analyzed in two periods

I think I had two parts. The first part that has been a very good time, I think that in the League of Nations we won the group, we went to the semifinals, then we had the group in qualifications with England, Czechia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, where we showed really good games and had good results. Then there's been a very difficult time for the coach and for all of us, this pandemic work has caused us a lot of problems knowing that the best players haven't been able to play in some very important fights... Now I think that after that a little bit more difficult time, I think the coach has taken a very good step and I've really enjoyed this mind-changing job... it's been time that the players changed their mentality a little bit and put a little bit more competition on the team and every player realize that there's no safe place in the national <1> has told me, Raskovic has told me.

The former captain of “Dardians” was harsh when he spoke of young Kosovo players playing in European clubs warning them to choose Kosovo before other states because the level of qualities in Kosovo is rising rapidly and that they will no longer pray.

Raskaj: New players must accept Kosovo soon

There's somebody who feels more about Kosovo, somebody who feels less, but I think it should be a job to explain to these players, to be introduced to a serious project, to be shown the job in the nationals, and I think that even these players have seen that Kosovo is a serious national, it's not at Sam Marino and Malta's level, it's not going to be much more professional players on the team, and I think that these players should take Kosovo seriously as an option and that at the start because it's not good to be expected even because Kosovo will have a player, and then it won't be easy to get into Kosovo, because maybe within three years, Kosovo will have a lot more players and then they won't be more competitive. They should think seriously of the National of Kosovo and come to play for their country... Our state is Kosovo, it cannot be another state your state”, Raskaj said at the end.

Anel Raskaj has defended the colours of the National of Kosovo from 2010 to 2021.
