The born midfielder formed as a footballer in Switzerland but who embraced the national red colors ends his football career.
Through an emotional post on social networks, where he lists all the teams he played, Basha thanks all those who supported his long and beautiful journey to football.
“The time has come to turn the page...
I was able to live my childhood dream thanks to the passion that accompanied me all the way to Switzerland and took me to Italy, Greece, Australia, and back to the first square. Along the way, with great love and pride, I also defended the colors of my country.
I want to thank here all those people who welcomed me with open arms and helped me feel comfortable.
Encouraged by my family, friends, supporters, companions, staff members, and even opponents! They all kind of gave me the strength to fight at every ball.
Thank you all for what you gave me on the way.
It's time to say goodbye to my career. ”
Migen Basha was equipped with an Albanian passport in the summer of 2012, while his debut with the Reds took place at the historic 0-1 victory in Norway (Hamdi Salihi achieved one of the most beautiful goals in National history).
Four days later, Basha scored the first goal as redheaded, in friendly to Lithuania, played in “Nico Dowana”.
Migen Basha is part of that poplar of red footballers making the big dream come true: participation in “Euro 2016”.
