Haxhiu said the focus of the justice ministry is focused on four priorities:
Reform in justice through implementation of the law-rule strategy and the vetoing of the justice system; Fighting organised crime and corruption; Education of domestic violence, violence against women, gender-based violence such as phenomena that damage social development; Education of crimes committed during the recent war in Kosovo.
“in line with our vows, we're working on vetoing the justice system. In this direction we have completed the concept-document for the development of the vetoing process in the judicial and prosecutorial system, which will be approved by the government next week and paving the way for constitutional and legal changes”, Haxhiu has said, broadcast Clankosova.tv.
She said vetoing is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Justice and is a process of great importance for the country to ensure integrity and restore citizens' trust in the justice system.
