In Germany, just at the court in Essen, the trial has begun against the former footballist and his wife, who are now in danger of ending up in prison.
In January 2016, Camba went to Kinshasa, the capital of Congo, but soon afterward friends and colleagues received the sad news of his death after a car accident. Crying for four years, the former player suddenly appeared in Germany in May 2020, working as a chemical technician at a company he had previously hired in 2013. At the time, he said he had been kidnapped and held hostage by strangers and that he did not want to know that his wife Christina had taken insurance money. Now, investigating trials that could lead the couple to a prison sentence of up to 10 years for fraud.
