Deontay Wilder surprises with the date of return, just days after losing to Tyson Fury

The American suffered a brutal loss from Tyson Fury at the weekend, broadcasting Periscope.

He was nominated in the 11th round after being knocked three times by the Gypsy King.

There were concerns that Wilder would retire from boxing after this confrontation, where he suffered many injuries.

The 35-year-old broke his hand and will have to undergo surgery to fix this problem next week.

Anyway, his agent, Shelley Finkel, has confirmed he'll be back in late April or May.

He has been suspended from a quick return after being told he needs at least six months after injuries suffered.

Finkel put it: ” He's French but okay, he was home yesterday.
