Albanian at the top of the project that will transform America's major policies: Meet the Star of Bayraktari

Google company former boss Eric Schmidt has chosen Albanian Ylli Bajraktari to head the Special Research Project (SCSO) that will recommend long-term US strategies and policies.

Albanian-American journalist Ruben Avxhiu has made this known through a writing published in the online newspaper Illyria.

“To lead this visionary initiative, the former Google boss has chosen Albanian-American expert Ylli Bajraktari, who worked in the two administrations of presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, and recently was a leading figure in the National Security Council office General H. R. McMister. His story and that of his brother, Ylber Bayraktari, such as war immigrants who climbed the upper steps of the American administration, has become known in many domestic newspapers”.

Avxhiu claims that former chief of Google Company has imitated the Cold War political thought project adjusted to today's challenges and selected the Star Bayraktari “as Henry Kissinger of our time”.

He says no American Albanian has ever been in such a key and important position in history.

We pride ourselves on figures like Ferid Muradi, Wilson Koklari etc, but in the public service sphere, especially in a field that can determine the future of the American nation, there was no such large Albanian figure. No doubt not at such a young age and not so close to the Albanian roots and product of our recent national history. Given the great importance of American foreign policy to the fate of our nation, this powerful position of the Star Bajraktar takes on even greater importance. This success so rapid in the highest spheres of major American decisions really makes you think this young Albanian-American will leave significant traces in history”.

Eric Schmidt was the famous CEO who made Google company the great modern technology giant. Under his direction, Google permanently turned the way we search for information on the internet.

Today, after a long career in technology and business, Dr. Schmidt took a look elsewhere. It has been inspired by billionaire Nelson Rockefeller since the height of fears of a nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union founded in 1956 the Rockefeller Special Studies Project (SSP). With the help of well - known researchers at Harvard University, Henry Kissinger, he approached the project, the best strategies, and the deepest connoisseur of international relations, military science, and nuclear specialists. Even 97-year-old Henry Kissinger, one of the most prominent thinkers of international and global developments, has welcomed the creation of this project. He today has more criticism than fans, because of debates over the time when he entered politics as Council for National Security and then Secretary of State for presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, as well as for the past decades where he served as adviser, lobbyists, and lawyers for regimes, figures, often undemocratic, if not dictatorial or anti-Western, etc. However, his views and books in the international field have not lost his curiosity and popularity.

Five years ago, he was invited to serve at the Defence Innovation Board at the Department of Defense, and three years ago Congress put him in charge of the National Security Commission for Artificial Intelligence.

These two posts convinced me that the US needs to think, organise and compete on significant new roads. No serious nation can ignore the impacts of new technologies on all aspects of our national life. Our government can't be a passive actor, but it needs help.
