Albania confirms withdrawal from World Boxing Championship if Serbia does not allow Kosovo

This morning the Kosovo boxing team was not allowed to enter Serbia because of national symbols occurring in their uniforms, and thus was asked by the Serbian side to remove them.

Normally Kosovo did not accept that, and Kosovo Boxing Federation Secretary General Latif Demolli announced he has contacted the ABA, with whom they have agreed to participate only with the symbols of the Kosovo state. While awaiting answers from the ABA, Albania's Box Federation has come to Kosovo, declaring that if Kosovo does not participate, neither will they.

Kosovo boxing team coach Besim Brahimi has thanked Albania's coach, Zef John.
