Conor McGregor was nominated in Oktagon, losing to American Dustin Poirier in the second round, writes Periscope.
Despite being the favourite, and despite his defeat of Poirier in their first war in 2014, the Irish could not do the job for a second time, eliminating the second round.
However, McGregor took the loss calmly, went inside the cage and gave his interview after the war.
“I'm empty”, said mcGregor, who seemed to be barely holding on to tears.
Loss of the Poirier means the Irish has now lost three times in the UFC; against Poirier, Nate Diaz and Khab. /Periscopi
