Andy Murray won't be able to compete at this year's Australian Open after failing to find an effective training system by obeying anti-rules. - COVID-19, after recovering from the virus.
Three times the Grand Slam winner hoped to prepare and present himself on time for the tournament, but logistical causes proved otherwise.
“With regret I am giving news that I am unable to travel to Australia to compete at the Australian Open”, he said.
“We've been in continuous dialogue with “Tennis Australia” to try and find a solution which would allow a form of quarantine training that would work, but we couldn't make it of”, he added.
I want to thank all those people for their efforts, I'm thrilled I won't play in Australia”, Murray said.
