Mustafa: Rugova's political will was preserving friendship with the US

Through a communique for the media, Mustafa has said Rugova would remain the historic leader who internationalised him and convinced the democratic world to free Kosovo from Serbian occupation, establish the state and declare independence.

According to Mustafa, he is the architect of the state and independence of the Republic of Kosovo, adding that his wisdom and foresight are needed even today and always follows them on their political journey.

He built the foundations of our state on principles: freedom, independence and Democracy. The LDK has consistently voiced its pledge that it will work with dedication to the country's development, this vision of President Historical Dr. Ibrahim Rugova”, he said.

Mustafa further has said the political legacy he left behind is the foundation of the state of Kosovo.

“Developing our country, maintaining its friendship that created them in the world, we preserve this legacy, which is the best emblem of our present and future Kosovo. Rugova's political will was the preservation and cultivation of reports with the friendly and supportive countries of Kosovo, in particular as the president said many times: permanent friendship with the United States of America”, he has said further.
