Hoxhaj: Yusuf, Bardoshi and Kadriu, KLA inspirers and our freedom

On the 39th anniversary of the murder of Bardosh and Yusuf Gervala, as well as Kadri Zeka, the candidate for prime minister from the ranks of the Democratic Party, Enver Hoxhaj, has said that, on the sacrifice of these three heroes, the popular freedom movement was strengthened and the Liberation Army was later established.

Hoxhaj also recalled a string by Yusuf Gervalla, saying that the works of martyrs, political prisoners and KLA fighters serve as the only stars that illuminate the way to the recovery of national dignity.

39 years ago, three national activists, Yusuf and Bardhosh Gervala and Kadri Zeka, were secretly killed in Germany. Yugoslavia thought that by killing illegal heads, it would extinguish the resistance of the Albanian people. In reality, though, thousands more were born where the three activists fell.

The popular freedom movement was strengthened on the sacrifice of three heroes, and the Liberation Army was later established. Thus, Yusuf, Bardoshi and Kadriu became three idealologists and KLA inspirers and our freedom.

“I don't see stars / confused in the dark” says a string of poet Yusuf Gervala. Today, in the darkness of the agenda for rewrite of the history of our fair liberation war, when we see no other star, the works of martyrs, political prisoners and KLA warriors serve as the only stars that illuminate the way to our recovery of national dignity.

The PDK is a party founded by activists who acted in the diaspora, by political prisoners, by KLA fighters. So, of Yusuf's friends, the Bardech of Kadri. Therefore, naturally, as PDK structures, today we are fond of the work of three Kosovo Heroes, Yusuf, the Whiteos and Kadri.
