Hoxhaj visits businesses in Drenas, promises 500m euros in direct assistance to businesses and 300 euros in minimum wage

During a visit to the company for the production of doors and windows “Wintech”, Hoxhaj said the Regeneration Plan would address all the problems businesses are facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hoxhaj said that the foundation of the 500m-euro fund for direct assistance to businesses is provided in the Resucation Plan, as well as the growth of minimum wage from 170 euros to 300 euros.

Also, from Drenasi Hoxhaj said that as prime minister, it will ensure that they create facilities for those businesses that plan to invest and open new jobs.

It was my pleasure to visit the “Wintech” company in the Drenas Business Park, a company that produces and exports to Kosovo on the domestic market, as well as to the external market. The plan of the Democratic Party of Kosovo to restore the economy is to have a fund that includes the value of 1 billion euros, which in the form of grants, will enable our companies to change technology to have quality products to compete not only in the domestic market but also in the European market. Of course, we also think about workers, and our goal is for the minimum wage, which is 170 euros, to be raised to 300 euros. This is the only way in which we can restore Kosovo, the recovery of Kosovo starts from economic recovery”, Hoxhaj said.

At Drenas Business Park, Hoxhaj has also visited the door factory “Behari”.
