The former head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), once and a candidate for MP, Daut Haradinaj, has reacted following threats from Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Haradinaj has said that Vuciq's hate language and threats are at stake Kosovo does not help regional stability at all.
“Set up military capacity in alert mode, with the pretext that “endure threatened by the situation in Kosovo” is a dangerous language, from which the entire region has suffered, already Serbia has brought loss of war and isolation”, Haradinaj has written on the social Facebook network.
On the other hand, he has indicated that Kosovo has a modern defence force which is participating in peacekeeping missions, with the goal of membership as quickly as possible in NATO.
I wish Serbia would join the Western alliance as soon as possible, counting on peace, stability, good co-operation and neighbourship with all its neighbours”, he has said.
We are more than set on our way west. Kosovo is an independent state and there is no turning back”, Haradinaj has finished.
