Juventu portor Gigi Buffon has been subjected to the disciplinary commission for using a blasphemer's phrase during the game against Parma.
The incident was picked up in the camera during the Grande A match at Stadio Tardin on December 19, 2020.
Buffon was yelling at teammate Manolo Portanova in the 80th minute of the game and using that phrase.
In Italian, blasphemy is considered the worst kind of oath.
If confirmed, Buffon will be punished for a non-game match in Serie A.
The punishment for blasphemy is becoming more and more frequent as matches are being held with closed doors, as they can be obtained and identified more easily by side microphones.
