A lot has recently been talked about in applying this technology to the Kosovo Superleague in football, writes Periscope.
In December last year, Periscope reported that significant steps were under way for the VAR application in the Superleague.
The enormous cost was one of the obstacles, but gradually everything is becoming clear and, with the help of international football organisations, there is hope that its use will begin this year in Kosovo as well.
Periscopi has contacted well-known Kosovo judge Genc Nuza today to ask him about the impact VAR may have on the Superleague.
Yeah, for us, it's more than good luck with the VAR. I personally appreciate the commitment of President Adam who is doing the impossible to facilitate our work in this regard. I hope that soon we will begin training in this direction and start applying the VAR system,” is first expressed.
Furthermore, he has suggested that the VAR application would also help Kosovo judges share justice in international matches, as the championship judges where technology applies have priority in selection.
And we would also take advantage of the Wefa races as a reference because Wefa has already just put it in their races and normally the countries that have VAR, the references to those countries have priority in some competitions to get matches. It should be commended to FFK engagement in this direction.” /Periscope. com/
