An incredible story from Northern Macedonia, where football fans have cheered for Pelister from 1937 at the stadium located near 12,600 unbroken grenades.
Local media report that the Macedonian Army in Manastir began disposal of explosive devices from World War I, found near the stadium “Tumbe Coffee”.
In 1916, the Serbian Army entered Manastir, and many remaining ammunition had war.
The grenades found near the stadium this month weigh 90 tonnes, and the Macedonian Army will gradually destroy them.
