This was widely reported Wednesday evening, after the goal against Naples in the final of Italy's Super Cup.
That was Ronaldo's 760 official career goal. We know that for sure, and it even transmits Periscope.
The Portuguese Superstar passed the previous record held by Joseph Bican, who had played between 1931-1955 and died at the age of 88 in 2001.
He now has three goals more than Brazilian legend Pele, which will forever insist that all of his 1,282 goals were officials and must be calculated.
However, the Czech Football Federation has done some research and believes Bican still has 61 goals more than Ronaldo.
In a communique, the Federation agrees that Bican actually scored 821 official goals, not 759.
” The History and Statistics Committee of the Czech Football Federation has counted all the goals marked by legend Joseph Bican and may claim he scored 821 goals in the official match,” is written in a post of the Czech Football Federation. /Periscope. com/
